A compelling story awaits the player as they gather info and approach enemies by 'turn by turn' base attacks. The "paper" side of the game is not exploited as much as it (maybe) could be, leaving the whole possibility of sliding into another realm "behind" the one we play in unexplored.

The story is told a little jerkily, with a series of intermission-style chapters-but even these end up getting in on the fun and become another aspect of the game! There is strategy in finding enemies' weaknesses and a few choices along the way that shape the game. Nintendo 64. Mario and Peach alongsides their friends eventually win over Bowser and Kammy.
