The outro riff has got to be my favourite gojira riff of all time. I just wish I had found them sooner..Flying Whales is possibly the heaviest moment I've ever seen in a live show. They only got to play like 5 songs but it was an incredible experience. So technical and intense..
I was so fucking shocked...I can see why.. ! Flying Whales starts out with a groove and then punishes you with sound, but The Art Of Dying hits you with everything and finishes with the groove to give you time to process it all.I've recently been introduced to these guys and they're quickly becoming one of my favourite metal bands... Wicked drumming!
Probably agree with that statement.MATERIAL IN THE AFTERLIFEEEEEEEI agree, Gojira are so fucking good live they sound better than in the studio imoIIIIII WAAAAAAANT PRIIIIINGLEEESIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WOOOONT BRING NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI know right? Log in sign up. !I want Pringle material to the after lifethis song is a literal masterpiece, especially the show stopping outroSaw them at the last aftershock.

But then again, I had forgot how many Staind hits 12 year old me liked so it worked out hahaThey rose to my number one as soon as I really listened to them.
Gojira, mastodon, lamb of god.
Really encapsulates all of the idiosyncrasies of their style. It's like the opposite of the Flying Whales intro. Songs like The Art of Dying (as posted here) are better suited for the Hall of Fame than regular posting imo. The musical community of reddit. one of the best bands ever if you ever get the chance to see them jump on itSaw them live 2 years and when they started playing flying whales I lost My shit, so amazing! This is their best song IMO.
Should have been one of the main bands for sure, probably replacing Staind.
