Ennis was one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith College Player of the Year award. He’s not the quickest or most athletic player but he gets to where he wants to be on the floor. Ennis termine meilleur marqueur de la compétition avec 20,9 points de moyenne par rencontre .
Every since he was a junior in high school. Similar to the way Tyus Jones manages a game. His jumper is really good, thts the least of the concerns Definitely this. I think his 35% from 2 point range kinda shows that. I’d really like to see them be able to run the pick-and-roll.I hope Ennis keeps flying under the radar. That way he doesn’t make a bad decision to enter the 2014 draft. The longer he stays in college the better for Syracuse basketball! What?
He’s playing extremely well for a college player, but I think he’s more in the mold of a Scottie Reynolds (meaning that he’s just a good college player) than he is a MCW (Solid college player, but great NBA prospect).I like him a lot.
Draft Profile Video: Tyler Ennis. I love that he gets everyone involved, but he passes up a lot of driving lanes and open shots in the process, and I think if he made defenses pay a little more whenever they give him an opening, it would take our offense to the next level. He’s definitely not one of those vocal/rah-rah kinda leaders (I think Cooney has surprisingly become that guy for SU this year), but I think Ennis is one of those guys where he can be a great leader because he always looks like he’s calm, cool, and collected.
He has five siblings; two brothers and three sisters.
I think it works well for teammates to see their PG looking like he’s not worried or not too hyped up at all. Though I wish he’d play a little harder on the defensive end. Please enter your email address. He loses the ball pretty much anytime he takes more than 3 dribbles. Ennis hit big shot after big shot to propel the Orange to a 25-0 start and a No. Gbinije has been a little shaky with it too, but he, Cooney, and probably the freshman guards (Patterson and Johnson) are better ball-handlers than CJ.Amen dcase. He is a good prospect but he is not a one and done guy. Especially in the 2014 draft class. He better stay healthy too because the Orange have zero depth at the point.Ennis is listed at 6’2", but he seems smaller than that to me just from seeing him around campus and stuff. Hes a natural leader, love his game
Le Canada est éliminé en quart de finale et finit à la 6 place.
Tyler Cameron Ennis McIntyre (born August 24, 1994 ) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Türk Telekom of the Turkish Super League (BSL). And I don’t think he has NBA athleticism at all. Maybe it’s because he’s next to Cooney, who has one of the best motors I’ve seen from a Syracuse player in awhile, but it seems like Ennis closes out pretty slow on shooters and gets beaten off the dribble pretty often. You will receive mail with link to set new password. To be honest they don’t have much depth at either guard spot. After Ennis and Cooney there is only Gbinije. I know they have Ron Patterson, but he isn’t likely to contribute this year. On the other hand they are stacked along the front line (Fair, Grant, Christmas, Coleman, Keita)…..shoot Tyler Roberson doesn’t even get off the bench. I am looking forward to watching this team get bettter and better as the year goes on. If Ennis and Cooney can keep up their play, the Cuse can make some serious noise in the tournament. Ontario is. Syracuse is usually one of the best fast break teams in the country, and this year, it’s non-existant because he just doesn’t get down the court fast enough/is hesitant in the open court. 5/30/14: Emily speaks with Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim about freshman PG Tyler Ennis and how his game will translate to the NBA. Perfect Euro PG, not so sure how he’ll fare against NBA caliber guards although his skill is undeniable.
Ennis chose to play for Jim Boeheim and the Orange and had a stellar freshman season that led to a Second Team All-ACC selection.
The rest of Canada needs to pick up the slack. Although not quite as strong, the 6-2 ½ point guard compares physically to 2012 draftee and NBA standout Damian Lillard (6 … Personally i like him better than Andrew Harrison and i think his overall game is more NBA read than Harrison. Personally i like him better than Andrew Harrison and i think his overall game is more NBA read than Harrison. We’ll see. He does have an awesome knack for being able to poke the ball loose though. Agreed, i think he is a 2 year player though.
Tyler Ennis - Career stats, game logs, biographical info, awards, and achievements for the NBA, G-League, NCAA, and International leagues. Hes one of the best Pure PG in the country.
1 ranking in the country. He was a star player there, winning the Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year award as a junior and the Star-Ledger Prep Player of the Year award as a senior.
More of a leader by example type. Fair is not a good ball-handler at all.
