There are thousands of costume societies and historical reenactment groups around the world, yet finding one that is local to you can be a challenge. And there’s good reason to attend at least one reenactment in the coming months. We portray not only Greeks, but also their allies and enemies.Over the years we have received many requests from schools, media companies and historic venues for details of re-enactors, in order to help to bring alive the various period events that they wished to stage. But experiencing “living history” adds an element of entertainment that ensures you’ll remember the historical significance—all while making your own family memories.

Most groups are not official organizations but small groups of friends, museum volunteers, event- specific organizers, and/or vintage themed business owners. It was a time of both turmoil and opportunity for warriors, settlers, religious folk and traders. The WW II Historical Reenactment Society is dedicated to keeping World War Two history alive and in the public eye and to honor the veterans as well as preserving World War Two artifacts.
